How to watermark a PDF as Draft or Confidential
Stamp every page with a word you choose — opacity, rotation, and placement included — without an upload.

Download the marked copy. Keep an unmarked original if you still need one.
A watermark is a social signal, not a lock. It stops accidental forwarding more than determined copying. Use it anyway — people behave better when the page says Draft.
Keep a clean original
Once you stamp, you cannot politely unstamp. File the unmarked version first.
Readable, not screaming
High opacity fights the text. Center makes one prominent stamp; Header and Footer keep it near an edge; Tile repeats it across the page. Start light, then choose the placement that stays readable without hiding the document.
