When splitting is the right first step

A 60-page scan that needs compression, a single exhibit for email, a form that should not travel with the rest of the packet — split first, then do the rest of the work on a smaller file.

Every-page mode writes a ZIP so your downloads folder does not eat 40 separate clicks. Range mode writes one PDF.

Questions

Is the page numbering 1-based?
Yes. Page 1 is the first page of the file you dropped.
Can I split by bookmarks?
Not in this version. Use ranges, or export every page and regroup.
