A private way to assemble a packet
Closing binders, job applications, and expense reports are just PDFs in a trench coat. The usual advice is to upload them to a merge site and hope the operator’s retention policy is real.
PDF Boost AI copies pages with pdf-lib in the order you stacked the files. Bookmarks and form widgets may not all survive a merge — the pages and their content do. That is the trade that keeps the job inside the tab.
PDF Boost AI processes the file in your browser with WebAssembly and JavaScript. The original PDF is not uploaded to a server for compress, merge, split, sign, rotate, organize, watermark, convert, or image tools. AI tools send extracted text or, when you opt into AI OCR for a scan, downscaled images of the first two pages — never the PDF file — and nothing is retained.
Order, rotation, and size
Add files in any sequence, then use each row’s up and down buttons to arrange the packet. If a page is sideways, rotate it first with Rotate PDF, then merge.
Merged size is roughly the sum of the parts. Compress the result if you need to email it.

- Can I merge more than two files?
- Yes. You can add up to 24 PDFs in one pass. The combined result can contain up to 3 pages on Free or 80 pages on Pro.
- Will bookmarks survive?
- Not reliably. PDF Boost AI copies pages, not a full document outline. Rebuild a table of contents after if you need one.
- Are the originals changed?
- No. PDF Boost AI writes a new file. Your source PDFs stay where they were.
