Tables in PDFs are a visual convention, not a real grid. Extraction guesses rows from spacing. It is useful and it is fallible — which is why you keep the source in the same tab.
Invoices and bank statements
These are the files people should least upload. Local extraction means the amounts never sit on someone else’s disk while a “free converter” trains a model.
Always check the last column
Wrapped descriptions and merged header cells are where extractors slip. Confirm the total matches the PDF before you book anything.
